In 2003 many years of bracken and brambles were cleared from the side of the hill behind the cottage.

Clearing Method

Brush cutting and scything. Bluebells appeared in May having been hidden by the bracken and brambles for many years.

English Oak (Quercus Robur)

Five-year-old bare root Oaks were planted in February.
